ABOUT TERESA
My name is Teresa Volesky, and I am a candidate for the United States House of Representatives. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies at Arizona State University, with academic focus in civil rights, forensic science, and constitutional law. I transferred to ASU from Mohave Community College, where I earned an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies with a 4.0 GPA.
I completed an internship with the Public Defender’s Office, gaining firsthand experience in how justice is administered — and how families are often harmed when transparency and accountability are missing.
I am not a career politician. I am a student, mother, survivor, creative entrepreneur, and community advocate who believes government must serve the people, not protect institutions.
WHY I AM RUNNING
Too many Arizona families have suffered because systems meant to protect them operate behind closed doors.

I am running to restore accountability, transparency, and due process in courts and child-welfare agencies that receive federal funding — starting here in Arizona’s 9th District.
